Triple P - Positive Parenting has arrived in Algoma!
In October 2010, the Triple P Steering Committee was formed to implement the Triple P Positive Parenting Program throughout the District of Algoma. Today, there are more than a dozen child and youth serving organizations participating in the Steering Committee. The organizations include children’s mental health, public health, developmental services, boards of education, aboriginal organizations, child welfare and youth services. Over 200 staff from partner organizations throughout the District of Algoma have been trained in all levels to deliver Triple P Positive Parenting programs and services for families with children and youth up to 17 years of age.
